[Hanja] 인 (人): The Character for Person

This hanja means “person.” This character is one of the most frequently used Hanja.

When Koreans study Hanja, they have to memorize both the meaning and the sound simultaneously, so it’s read as “사람 인.”

“사람” is the Korean reading of the meaning, and “인” is the Sino-Korean sound for this character.
